I grew up on a small farm in a village in the North of Germany. After completing High School in 1993 I moved to Hamburg, one of the biggest cities in Germany, in order to work. One year later I started studying computer science at the University of Oldenburg where I graduated with a diploma in the beginning of 2002. Now I am working at the research institute for computer science OFFIS. The job provides an insight to current research in software engineering and allows me to join international conferences.
